Wow…  it’s been a long ride, but the adventures haven’t ceased.

After 15+ years as a contractor, building the electronic side of banks (servers, networks, internet, comms), One day, I just couldn’t go into work anymore. What started out as my passion and enjoyment (computers) had finally become the dreaded job. So, I escaped, alive, to Latin America.

I am not here, at this point in my life, to become rich… This is the point where I enrich my life…

I made a stop for several years in Panama and opened a dive operation. I kept my charters small and personal. The standard dive charters take you to the normal places… I was not one of those. Some of my more notable customers were:

Dr Sylvia Earle, head science officer for National Geographic; Head of Science Diving for Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute; and, divers from the M/Y Octopus, owned by VP of Microsoft…  I then spent a year touring South America and stopped for a good portion of the time in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Right now, I´m in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania writing the online booking software for the web site.  I just finished building a new dive/salvage/towing boat for further adventures.  And, as always, taking pictures and working as a freelance photographer.

Photos before 2005 were taken with a Canon Powershot A60. Photos taken from 2005 to August 2007 were taken with a Canon Powershot S1 IS. After August 2007 photos were taken with either a Canon G7 or a Canon 20D. Lenses on the 20D are: 10-22mm wide angle, 24-70mm f2.8L, 70-200mm f2.8L, 400mm f5.4L, 50mm f1.4 and 100mm f2.8 macro. Photos taken between March 2008 and November 2008 are taken with a Canon Powershot G9.  Photos taken from November 2008 to February 2011 are taken with a Canon XSI or my cell phone (sometimes the best camera is the one that you have with you).  Pictures taken after February 2011 are taken with a Canon T2i with a 17-40 f4L, 28-75 f2.8 or 70-200 f4L.
