Every year, the weekend after Thanksgiving, there is a lighted boat parade. It’s very interesting to see how creative people can get with boats and christmas lights.

Very cool viking ship.

Then afterwards, there is a great fireworks display…

I need to learn the bulb mode using the hat trick… I think I can get better results with that…
Everyone enjoyed the boat show and the fireworks display afterwords.

Spending Thanksgiving with friends. It’s nice to enjoy the friendship on turkey day…

Kittens are so fun… this must be the attack of the imaginary enemy…

What a face! Great expression…

A sip from the water fountain…

Okay… won the auction on Ebay. Here’s a quick peek at the new dive boat before I completely change her up.

After the bid, I drove down to Port Charlotte to pay for her and take my first look. Along the way, couldn’t resist shooting a pic of this sign… Can’t say you weren’t warned…

Presently, she’s a small cabin cruiser. I’ll turn her into a cuddy cabin and gain more deck space.

The forward v-berth.

Yep… can’t wait to get her back to Jacksonville and get started… I can already feel the new adventures coming…

I got up early, and noticed the great colors. So, grabbed the camera and tried to see what I could get.

The water was so calm and the reflections and colors were magnificent.

Even tried a little HDR. Works nice with the colors of the morning sky.

Okay… I’m back in Florida. First things first… Picked up the new Canon Xsi with a couple of nice sharp lenses and other goodies.

One of the first shots… okay… I meant the camera… Where else would a crusty old Captain read the manual to the new camera??? What???

Getting ready to leave Puerto Rico. My class of 3 dive students is finally finished, and everyone passed with flying colors!

Juanma on the surface. We finally finished all of the work underwater. It’s nice to finish up a job and look back on a “job well done”… It’s also nice to be leaving Puerto Rico. Back to Florida again.
